Our room was extremely spacious with charming fireplaces, just what was needed. The location was particularly GOOD and beautiful and the free parking was on site.

Amazing views of the volcano and charming cabins. the staff was friendly and hospitable. the hotel is in a great location for exploring the surrounding area.

Check-out time was inconvenient as the cleaning was done early, making it uncomfortable to stay in the room longer.

Located near Volcan Irazú, beautiful facilities with comfortable and clean cabins. Friendly staff, great service. Choice of different breakfast dishes, served with fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. Separate wooden cabins with heaters for colder temperatures. Great view of the valley from the property.

The hotel offers a comfortable stay with spacious wooden cabins and a great view of the surrounding area. The breakfast is tasty and served with a friendly smile. It's conveniently located for visiting Volcán Irazú and the nearby town. The electric heaters in the cabins provide warmth in chilly weather.

Breakfast & Location We loved the breakfast, it was delicious and had plenty of options to choose from. the hotel was located close to some great tourist attractions which was very convenient. the front desk staff was friendly and always willing to help with any questions we had.

Poor Internet & Noisy Rooms the internet was practically non-existent, it was very slow and barely worked. the rooms were extremely noisy, we could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms and outside.

We had a fantastic breakfast at Grandpas Hotel & Restaurante - it was one of the best we've had in Costa Rica! The staff were friendly and the cabin we stayed in was cozy. Although it got a little cold at night, the heater and extra blankets provided were sufficient. The location is ideal for those planning a trip to Irazu Volcano, and the receptionist went out of their way to provide useful information for our onward journey. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stopover to see the volcano.

The views from the bungalow were outstanding and the staff gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. The diverse breakfast options and rustic charm of the accommodation were appreciated. the location was key, as it was very convenient to visit the local attractions.

Our New Year's stay had some negative aspects. The cleaning staff came early in the morning, disturbing our rest.
